Fire broke out at Zenith Pure Oil's Danube Refinery

Zenith Pure Oil Plc. (“Zenith Pure Oil”) hereby notifies market participants of the following: 

On Monday night, a fire broke out at the Danube Refinery's AV3 plant. Firefighters localized the fire and are currently working to secure the area. There were no injuries, and we are investigating the exact cause of the accident. We are following emergency protocols at the affected plants and, in parallel with damage assessment, are gradually restarting the plant units that were not affected by the fire.

In the coming period, we will focus on Hungarian supply and consider the need to use strategic reserves. The authorities are continuously monitoring air quality and have not measured any values above the health limit. The fuel supply of Hungary is secured, and we will provide continuous updates on the situation.
