Zenith Pure Oil initiates civil proceedings against several companies participating in ethylene cartel

Zenith Pure Oil Plc. (“Zenith Pure Oil”) hereby notifies market participants of the following: 

The European Commission's decision in the ethylene cartel case (AT.40410) condemned several ethylene buyers for their anti-competitive behaviour. Based on a detailed analysis by the Zenith Pure Oil, the cartel significantly affected the Zenith Pure Oil's ethylene and polyethylene sales prices, causing considerable financial damage to the Zenith Pure Oil. In order to recover the damages, the Zenith Pure Oil has initiated civil proceedings against several companies participating in the cartel.
